Ayça Arslan Ergül, who is one of the Changemakers of the 7th season with the project “Come on Friends, Let's Do Science!”, continues to work in the field of Molecular Biology at Hacettepe University. Since she become a Changemaker in 2015, Ayça Arslan Ergül has been continuing her work at full speed and has given seminars on science and becoming a scientist to more than four thousand students in 70 different schools. Ayça Arslan Ergül founded “Let’s Do Science Association” in 2019 with her students, in order to increase awareness and make the project more sustainable and extensible after she was selected as a Changemaker.

The mission of the Let’s Do Science Association is to encourage high school students to do science. In the short term, a “DNA Learning Center” is planned to be implemented as a continuation of the “Come on Friends, Let's Do Science” project. High school students will be able to experiment all day under the supervision of specialists in a safe laboratory, which is planned to be established within the scope of the DNA Learning Center, to attract more children towards science and become scientists. For the service, no fee will be charged from students in need.

In addition to her achievements in science, Ayça Arslan Ergül was also influential in the lives hundreds of high school students while drawing their career paths. Ayça, who is a source of inspiration especially for girls, has made a difference with her contribution to the development of science in Turkey.
