University friends Seben Ayşe Dayı, Serim Berke Yarar and Hale Yıldız, are disability rights advocates and activists with different disabilities and common dreams. They established the "Accessible Everything" social initiative, based on the dream of making venues, events, and festivals accessible to eliminate the difficulties in participating in social life. Accessible Everything continues its activities with the motto of “If there is accessibility, there is no disability”.
The team, which deals with accessibility not only in physical terms but also in content and communication dimensions, prepares status and recommendation reports on social media, websites, and written materials to increase social awareness on this issue, and offers perception and awareness training to institutions. In addition to these, it provides detailed status and recommendation reports for physical access, and also carries out coaching processes as a result of the reporting.
The team provides consultancy for festivals such as Bozcaada Jazz Festival, Festtogether, WOW İstanbul Festival and for NGOs, institutions, and organizations such as Istanbul Airport, Doğuş Automotive, and Pera Museum. They have reached more than 1,000 people through workshops such as sign language and perception transformation in Turkey, where 67% of social environments are not accessible and where more than 4 million people live, according to official records.
Accessible Everything, which was brought to life by 3 university friends defending their most basic rights such as education, employment, access to culture and arts, continues to make a difference in the lives of individuals who are hindered by the dream of a world where their efforts are not needed.
